Story

We are raising money to say thanks and to support two amazing charities, which are 2Wish and Velindre, whilst cycling the length of the Tour de France.

What is the Tour de Nowhere?

The TDN is a charity cycle where Liam, the owner of OSA will be cycling the length of the Tour de France in just 14 days starting April 29th and finishing May 12th. The twist is that he's doing it all outside the shop on a stationary bike! He'll be averaging 160 Miles a day and being on the bike for 10hrs every day for 14 days!

Why are we doing it?

OSA is turning 9 years old, and to celebrate, we're doing a charity challenge! If you were around last year, you will know that our last challenge was cycling 1350 miles, the length of the UK and back home to Cardiff. We had an amazing time and raised over £6000 for 3 amazing charities. This year Liam is going solo, and he's turning it up a notch! 2200 miles in 14 days! We just want to use our little milestone and our little community for something bigger than ourselves, and so rather than just celebrate ourselves, we want to give back and do some good!

Who are we doing it for?

Our chosen charities this year are 2Wish and Velindre Cancer Centre. 2wish is a local charity that do amazing work giving families the support they need after suffering the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young adult under 25. They offer counseling, play therapy for children, support groups, and much more. The Velindre Cancer Centre is a specialist facility offering inpatient and outpatient cancer care and research. Unfortunately, many of you will probably know someone who has been under their care, and it goes without saying how important their work is. Join us in this fundraising challenge, and let's give these charities the support they deserve!
