    Story

10% of children aged 5-16 have a clinically diagnosable mental health problem, yet 70% don’t get appropriate interventions at a sufficiently early age. One of the main reasons for this is failing to spot the signs early enough.

We've been working tirelessly over the last year to help train the tutors on our books in how to recognise the symptoms of a range of mental health problems, and we now want to take it one step further by putting on a charity event to help bring that awareness to parents.

The event will be taking place at Sylvia Young Studios (the place where they rehearse for Strictly Come Dancing!) on Tuesday 27th February, 6.30 to 8.30pm.

We've got a cracking line-up of comedy, music, magic, and everything in between, including performances from stand up extraordinaire Carl Donnelly (Mock The Week, Russell Howard’s Good News), the high energy hilarity of Naz Osmanoglu (Live at the Electric, Russell Howard’s Good News and Horrible Histories) and sketch wizards The Awkward Silence (Shortlisted for BBC Writer’s prize. “One of this years best sketch comedy shows” - The New Current). We’ve even got a short talk from diet guru Rachel Kelly, (Mental health campaigner and author of The Happy Kitchen).

ALL this, for the price of FREE!! Yes, you read that correctly. FREE!! We will however, be taking donations via this page, as well as on the evening. All proceeds will be going to Prince William’s fantastic mental health charity, Heads Together, in order to help support them with all the amazing work they do.

It’s going to be a GREAT night! To book your place, head over to Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/stand-up-to-mental-health-tickets-42037027882?aff=eac2

Looking forward to seeing you all there!
