Did you ever complain about having to get the bus to school as a kid? I certainly did! Slow, loud, noisy things! What about school? Ughh, the worst! I hated being 'forced' to go to school everyday, it was so unfair!

What I didn't realize was that some kids were so keen to have the education, that I often took for granted, they would walk over 10 miles everyday just to get to school.

This is fairly insane so Change A Life charity has decided to build a boarding house for the students so they can start their school day fresh instead of exhausted or not at all in the case of bad weather.

As a Computershare UK employee, I have been given the opportunity to take part in a 7 day hill trek to help raise the funds needed to construct this boarding house.

The trek is a daunting task, I have trouble with physical tasks daily so to undertake this trek is an ambitious goal. Not many of you know but I initially fancied a career as an officer in the Coldstream Guards army regiment that I was unable to pursue due to medical reasons.
