Story

My name is Oskar. I am a Siberian Husky with cancer - sqamous cell cercinoma to be exact.

Let me tell you my story: I started out life as a rescue dog. I moved homes a few times before finally finding my forever home in 2013. Although my exact age and health conditions were not known, my humans promised me they would do everything possible to keep me happy, healthy and loved.

When I arrived at my new home I was going lame and soon could no longer stand. My humans helped me by arranging implants to be fitted in my back legs and we went to hydrotherapy sessions to help build my strength up. Eventually I could not only stand up by myself but I could take my humans for walks!

My humans also taught me tricks, if you meet me I will give you a high-five in return for a doggy treat! being of a working breed I really enjoy learning with a dog whistle. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks!

My current situation: Just over a month ago my humans found a lump in my mouth, we went to see the oncologist who diagnosed me with Sqamous Cell Cercinoma. As the cancer is aggressive it needs to be removed soon. My humans are trying to raise the money to complete my cancer treatment. I want to help them so am asking for donations towards my treatment, even the smallest of donations will make all the difference to me.

My humans tell me "all life is precious", and I know they are doing all they can to save mine...
