raised of £70 target by 2 supporters

Weʼve raised £20 to support our fellow scouts selected to attend the 2019 World Scout Jamboree

Funded on Monday, 19th November 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    A penny for 'our guys'!!

Four Scouts from our troop of the 4th St Albans Scout Group were selected to attend the 2019 World Scout Jamboree in the USA. Each Scout must raise £3500 to cover flights, food etc and a proportin also to cover the costs for Scouts from less developed countires attending the Jamboree.

To help our fellow scouts reach their target we took over this weeks scheduled meeting and, using our best knot skills, made 'Guys' as a patrol competition. The four Guys are pictured on the main photo, ours is shown in the picture below.

We are now going head to head with the other patrols to see who can raise the most money for their

Guy. All money raised will be donated to the World Jamboree Scouts to go toward their trip total!!

So please spare a penny which in todays money is at least a pound so my Scout Leader tells me! Or even more if you can!
