Story

Oxford University Orchestra have recently heard about the typhoon that has hit and destroyed lots of Soma City - a place we visited on our tour over Easter to play music and get to know the local children and community. We are devastated to hear that in the process of recovering from the disaster 8 years ago, Soma City has been hit once again, leaving the children and families we met struggling to find food, clean water and shelter. OUO are determined to contribute by helping to support Soma Higashi High School, students of which we shared a stage with. Not only do we want to help provide everyday supplies but also help replace the instruments lost [owned by the school, El Sistema Japan and the Soma Children's Orchestra] which otherwise can't be replaced. We really appreciate all your support and many thanks in advance for your contributions.
