Story
On Monday 29th October our lovely little brother, Will, had a devastating and life changing accident. This has led him to have multiple spinal fractures and spinal cord injuries.
He was flown from his home in Jersey to England that evening for emergency treatment, but after 6 hours of surgery he still has no feeling from the chest down. He has been told it is unlikely he will ever regain use of his legs.
Will is going to be in England for several months, while he recovers in a spinal rehabilitation unit and comes to terms with what has happened.
For those of you who know Will, know what a kind, caring and amazing person he is. He is always the first to offer help to friends and family and has such a gentle nature- he is loved by many.
He is a wonderful husband to Emma and doting father to baby Florence- They are with him now in England and will stay with him for the duration of his stay which could be many months.
The money raised will be for Will and Emma to relieve some of the financial stress of travel and expenses while in England. Any extra money will be used to help Will in the future, he has a tough, long road ahead of him, but we are determined to support him every step of the way, with your support too.
Thank you so much to all of you who can help - your contributions are heartfelt. Xx
Love from Sarah and Nicola (Will’s sisters)

6 years agoWe have recently returned from visiting our brother in the UK. He is recovering from his spinal surgery and will start his long rehab programme soon. As you can only imagine, there are so many changes that Will & Emma will have to endure to live their new life. Some of these changes will incur considerable costs and therefore your contributions are so important. We want to clarify that ALL the money raised is for Will, Emma and Florence ONLY - to help them with their new and different life ahead. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Xx

6 years agoThanks to all you wonderful, generous people for your incredible support! We want you to know that under the terms of ‘justgiving’ , we have to keep the page open for a minimum of 30 days so will close on 1st December. We have read through the lovely comments and it makes us so proud our brother and Emma to know they have made such a positive impact on so many people over the years. It’s early days and Will is still recovering from surgery and the complications that go with it. He is aware of all your support and this is giving him comfort 🙏
