Story
This remains our journey. Our journey of hope. However this journey took an unexpected turn and turned into a journey of sadness, devastation and heartbreak.
After two years of finally succeeding after being given the lifeline of IVF, our one little embryo split into two babies. TWINS! People said how we had created a miracle and how lucky we were and we felt so proud, because it was true! Despite our emotional journey throughout, at 16 weeks we found out we were having little twin girls. At 17 weeks we felt their little kicks and movement all week in mummy's tummy and we cried tears of happiness, joy and sheer excitement. We had so may plans and dreams for our little girls.
On Saturday 11th November 2017 at 11.15am, our world came crashing down and our beautiful little girls grew their wings and flew into the sky. Then the news came that mummy would have to experience a natural birth and get to meet her angels. We were now given the lifeline of the Butterfly Suite at Arrowe Park Hospital. Words cannot describe how supportive and amazing the team were to help us all. Unfortunately, mummy became very sick and nearly lost her life and needed four blood transfusions. Despite the hurdles, we were all given the best care possible and our new journey with our angels was magical and we felt so much love in our hearts.
Our beautiful girls were born on Wednesday 15th November 2017. First came Grace at 1.06am followed by Sophie at 1.12am.
We are trying to raise funds for the outstanding care of the Butterfly Team at Arrowe Park. Despite the best efforts of the staff, equipment is lacking to continue to make this heart breaking time into a magical moment. Therefore we wish to raise funds for equipment resources. We would appreciate any support you could give to help a cause close to Stefanie, Bryan, Grace and Sophie's hearts.
We continue to dare to dream but now as a family xxx

6 years agoSeven months ago my daughters flew away but they brought me 3 lovely ladies who volunteered and dedicated their time and effort to help something positive come out of a sad time. We designed a beautiful wall for all the babies who were taken too soon. When parents leave the suite, they will be able to write their babies names and leave them on a butterfly on the wall. We have raised £1800 and this will be put towards an electric double bed for parents during their stay and a rainbow projector for the wall so thankyou to all who donated
