We are a group based at St Johns Church, Hinckley who provide a fun and stimulating environment for children and young people with additional needs and their families one Saturday a month. There is soft play, crafts, music, signing, sensory room and general merriment. We love this group because of the fun that the children and young people have but also because we aim to create an environment where the whole family has what they want/need. Siblings get to play together, parents get to have some time out, new friendships are made and support networks formed. We are all about fun, laughter, friendship and support.
We would like to use the money to fund more trips/equipment/resources etc. We have lots of dreams for Our Space. We're currently working on a website and would love to write a book. We have been approached about doing some training in other churches in the future and we'd love to create our own resources to share with others.
