Story

Hyperhidrosis (HH) has always been an unwanted guest who took part of my life for as long as i can remember. I used to suffer from sweaty palms, underarms and feet exclusivly which made my life a living hell especially during summertime. This was a major cause for social anxiety and lack of confidence.

After i finished high school in 2012, i discovered the International HH society and i had a pretty good idea on avilable treatments and i opted for ETS. I was naturally skeptical because of its random outcome so I had done some research for a year and a half on forums, asking around. My anxiety case has worsened and i almost fell into depression so i decided to undergo surgery in 2014.

I can say a new chapter in my life started and finally got rid of my HH for good. At least that's what i thought!

To be fair it cured my palmar HH which is a big deal for a biotechnology student, plus, i could shake people's hands without having second thoughts!

The other good news, my axillary HH was cured and i bid farewell to those ugly stains and bad odor..

Long story short, the outcome of the ETS wasn't all positive, i had suffered from compensatory sweating in the back, abdomen, thighes, while still sweating from my feet and groin area.

Since 2016, My underarm hyperhidrosis has slowly got back to normal. I cannot afford to treat this case with botox injections for their high cost and limitied efficiency so i'am aiming to to get treated using MirDry procedure. And if possible, treating my sweaty groin will make me feel normal again and get rid of the aweful pants stain and chair swamp.

First of all, The MiraDry procedure is not prcticed in Tunisia. I have located a practitioner in Lebanon and i inquired about the prices.

The price of the one session is 1500$ which is problem. It's costly for a college student when converted to my local currency. It is roughly 3 times my dad's salary!

This is tremendously painful to write. I cannot stress enough how much my social life has deteriorated, let alone my mental well being.

I am asking if there's a chance to help me raise funds in order to get treated. This would mean the world to me. :)
