Story

At Outlier Run Club we promote personal wellbeing and development through sport. We strive to be open, inclusive, welcoming, and supportive. As part of the Outlier Run Club ethos, we are committed to supporting those less fortunate within the local community and Greater Glasgow area. With this in mind we are asking for your help to raise money for 3 charities as part of our Great Scottish Run program. We have 100 members running and as a group we have carefully selected the charities below and our intention is to spread all monies equally between them.

Scottish Sports Futures - https://ssf.org.uk/

We use sport as a catalyst to enable young people to be healthier, more confident and more resilient, so they are better prepared to combat the effects of poverty, trauma and adversity.

Kindness Homeless Street Team - https://kindnessglasgow.co.uk/

We offer a pop up soup kitchen in George Square two evenings per week, on a Monday and Wednesday.

We help furnish houses and support making houses homes, we offer food parcels 4 days per week - Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday 11am-2pm

Refuweegee - https://www.refuweegee.co.uk/

Refuweegee is a community-led charity that gives people a way to welcome and embrace those newest to arrive. We strive to ensure that people who have been forced to flee their homes arrive in Scotland to a warm welcome and some of the things that will help them to feel more at home here.
