Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
This is a callout to help fund my mission to do my part in saving our troubled world. I am sure people will see many like this, and most will quickly dismiss, but if such a thing can spread then even the smallest contributions could add up and make a difference not only to myself but to all beings I can touch.
I had a vision some years ago which moved me into a dream, a dream for each of us to know clearly the beauty of our centres past the troubles which build in our souls, and to use this beauty within to touch and change the lives of all those around us, human and animal, all living beings. Through this earlier period of time my main focus was with humans, those who have been lost and to whom life had become a burdern, those who had been victims of trauma and abuse. It became very important to me to give my time and energy to those in need, to help each person find their way through the weights placed by experience and to be in tune with the perfection of their essence and to walk in a higher purpose for the healing of this earth.
This did not neglect also the needs of the animals. I have been vegan for around 14 years now, seeing this not only as a moral necessity in any simple sense but more as part of a higher metaphysical duty to eleviate all the pain that we can from this world of interconnected beings. I have worked with animals on a therapeutic level, whether it be injured animals found or spending time with calfs separated from their mothers in rural dairy farms, helping tired bees find their way to new flowers, helping snails cross the street. The conscious experience of even the smallest of creatures is valuable and deserving of care, and in holding dominion it is our duty to care for them in every way they can. Still, though, it must be said that the root of all which hurts the animals is in the unconsciousness of humans to their own beauty and ability, these things cannot be separated and all must be guided to care.
I have been lucky enough in life to have touched many people, to have helped many through healing and change. Sometimes I have not been conscious to the gifts which were shared, and I must admit that due to some severe pains in recent years I fell unconscious to myself and my work in many ways. A recent and very powerful heartbreak and confrontation of my own scars, insecurites, and unconsciousness to what I have lived, has also in a way been a catalyst to renewing the care and the feeling of necessity to help all other beings in the ways I once did. I am trying to find my path to enable that, though my path may seem selfish as indeed it involved attaining the means to heal myself along the way.
I have worked before this, building my own chocolate company from nothing up to the point that my reputation spread and I was to start selling larger amounts to healthfood shops in the UK, but fortune meant that at this same time I had to leave my studio and workplace, so the business ended and I chose to leave the country of my birth and find my new home. I have spent much of the last few years living in nature, from wild stormy cliffs in England to frozen winter forests of Scandinavia, living with almost nothing but my mind. It has been challengings but beautiful, and most of all it has been a great learning experience. along the way I have travelled around Europe at various times, mostly hitchhiking as I have rarely had enough money to pay for travel. One thing which this way of travel gave was meeting many people from many places, backgrounds, and walks of life, and next to this it has given chances to converese deeply about the issues here at hand. I have been able to introduce many people to the idea of veganism, speaking from whichever angle seemed most appropriate in any given situation, whether that be the ethics, environmental issues, dietary health, or even occasionally the metaphysics at hand. I have been lucky enough to then convert many people, some of whom I maintain contact, and also plant many seeds where otherwise they may not fall. I have also had the opportunity to help people in other ways, which also gives a greater light into the balance of us all. Though at times I have thought little of myself, I have also felt blessed when realising that any positive difference has been made. I wish to now make that difference more widely, and devote my life to the aid of all beings.
How do I do this?
Well, the answer there may expand instantly but I know where I must start: I firstly need a way to heal my own heart again, and I realise that at this point in life I need three things: freedom, art, and to know myself in healing others. After my recent troubles I decided to return to England, originally with plans to get my driving license and to settle down to rebuild business here to a state of financial security which would enable me to do what I am here planning. However, upon returning to England I realised the difficulties of my environment, and that I am not ready to settle down into anything static at this point as it would be a detriment to my healing. I have been selling my belongings, my records and my musical instruments, to pay for driving lessons and food so that I can get my license, but then also I need to acquire a van which can be my shelter (sleeping in tents or less in -20 is not something I wish to do any more, beautiful as it has been) and which can be a happy home for this period of life, with space to make food to feed the hungry, to be able to play music and draw, but which will also give me the mobility to move freely wherever I may be needed, to help the animals and the people both by interaction and neccessary aid, and by also becoming a MOBILE VEGAN OUTREACH. I guess this last part may be the main work and purpose of this life, but as I look at veganism on a holistic level I like to explain that I see a neccessity to help all beings as this in itself helps all. Along my travels I have been to places where veganism is barely even understood, and, as I say, it has been a joy any time I have been able to open somebody's eyes and hearts to the cause. The difference with doing this whilst actually having a van is that other elements may be incorporated into it, I will be able to find places where I may use the van as a pop-up vegan meal taster, to share with people from different countries the flavours and health of vegan culinary choices, I will be able to carry and distribute leaflets and my own "holistic veganism" writings, I may also have a chance in certain areas to help with the transportation of rescue animals, to take them to other countries to find new homes. This is early days, but really the possibilites are endless and from my experience already of travelling I know there are opportunites each day to help save the world, one person at a time for the benefit of every being on this earth.
So, this is my goal. I have found a van, and it is the one.. unfortunately I have no financial means of acquiring this van (£6,500 + whatever I will need for insurance and international breakdown cover etc). I had almost given up on the idea and just packed my bags to go back to the forest, but then I remembered that there are 7 million people on this planet, some fraction of whom may be able to spare a few pounds or euros or dollars, and that this can add up over time to the money I need for my mission to save the world with my van of healing.
This is my cause. Do you feel kindness today?
