Story
WHO WE ARE
We are Outreach Paramedics, a registered not for profit, UK based organisation made up entirely of unpaid volunteers whose aim is to provide ambulances, medical aid and paramedics in response to a humanitarian crisis. Many of us are paramedics, but we also have volunteers from other backgrounds, all pitching in order to make a positive impact.

WHAT WE HAVE DONE SO FAR:
- Donated three ambulance to Ukrainian charities
- Trained 278 firefighters in prehospital emergency care, trauma and life support.
- Delivered 2.5tonnes of prehospital emergency medical aid throughout Ukraine.
In addition to their normal fire and rescue duties, the Ukrainian state fire service are responding to more and more medical emergencies as a result of the war, and yet they have had very little medical training. They are extricating severly injured patients from the frontline, and dealing with civilian casualties throughout the war-torn country. The state fire service have requested medical training from us, in order to improve their knowledge and skills.

WHAT'S NEXT?
On the 21st April 2024, a team of five paramedics will be heading back out to Ukraine for two weeks, to continue training the Ukrainian fire service in prehospital emergency care. In addition, we would like to equip each fire station that we visit, with three trauma kits. Each trauma kit includes; tourniquets, blast bandages, pelvic binders, haemostatic gauze, chest seals and more. This really is life-saving kit.
To continue to do this work though, we desperately need your help. If you can donate, please please do. Any funds raised that are not utilised on this mission to Ukraine will be utilised on subsequent missions, providing medical aid and equipment to those in need. Funds will also be used to cover associated running costs of Outreach Paramedics, e.g.insurance.
Please note, Outreach Paramedics are a not for profit organisation run entirely by volunteers. Every penny donated will go towards helping those in need. We are fully auditable and comply with all CIC regulations. See www.outreachparamedics.org for more details.
Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page. Anything you can donate really will make a huge difference.
