At Outserve, we believe in actively contributing to the communities we serve. This year, we're excited to not only sponsor but also participate in the upcoming races to support Staffordshire Community Grocers. Every member of our team is lacing up their running shoes to join in the 5k, 10k, and half marathon events. Together, we're committed to making a difference, promoting health and wellness, and raising funds for this cause.

What is Staffordshire Community Grocers?

Staffordshire Community Grocers is a pioneering initiative that transforms the way communities access nutritious food while fostering education and financial wellness. Our mission is centered around reducing food waste and making healthy, branded grocery items accessible at a fraction of their usual cost. For a modest membership fee of £5, which includes their first bag of groceries, members can enjoy a year of weekly shopping at our store. Each visit allows them to take home a variety of items worth approximately £30-£40, for just £5 per shop.

But our efforts go beyond just providing affordable food. Recognizing the diverse needs of our community, Staffordshire Community Grocers offers a range of free courses aimed at enhancing life skills and improving economic stability. Members have access to valuable resources including job clubs, cookery courses, childcare training, and even courses exploring Christianity. Additionally, we provide essential support through budgeting courses and debt assistance, empowering our members to achieve greater financial freedom and stability. Through these comprehensive services, Staffordshire Community Grocers not only feeds bodies but also nourishes minds, helping to build a stronger, more resilient community.
