Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Hello, and thanks for visiting our crowdfunding page.
Outside In is a brilliant community project looking to be wholly inclusive, not for profit, innovative, exciting, stimulating and something for the whole of Kendal to be very proud of. Not just a soft play area to take the children but space where parents, grandparents and carers can enjoy some respite while knowing their children are safe and having a great time.
You can find out all about our vision here -
We are in the process of applying for funding from various bodies. The feedback we're getting is all very positive and we're confident that our applications for grants will prove to be fruitful. Eventually we aim to become a registered charity and will shortly take the interim step of becoming a Charitable Incorporated Organisation.
We have set up this crowdfunding appeal so that individuals and companies can if they are able, show their support by making a donation to our cause. Whatever you can afford, your money will go towards helping to make this amazing project come to life.

About the fundraiser
Kendal, United Kingdom
Outside In started as the brainchild of two local parents, Mhairi and John Helme. As Kendal has very sadly lost two previous soft play centres over the last few years, we decided to look at not for profit models to see if we can create somewhere sustainable for the town.
