I've raised £400 to help people in need in Ethiopia, such as those fleeing from domestic and sexual abuse, as well as vunerable members of the Eldery.

Story

The poverty and suffering in the world is immense. I believe as human beings its our responsibility to help each other when we are in need, even if that is difficult. So, for me, its important to try and take this one step at a time, starting with Ethiopia. To at least attempt to help, attempt to change something is vital. Consequently, I decided to through in my hat when the oppurtunity arose to go to Ethiopia and raise £1500. I‘ve currently raised £400 during the GCSE period, so now my summer break has begun; its time to role my sleeves up. Therefore, I’ve decided to do the Yorkshire Three Peaks. As I said before, even though it is difficult to do so, especially in the case of the Three Peaks, we have to at least try to help those around the world who need it. Anything you could give would be massively appreciated.
