Tragically, on 24th May 2025, hearts were broken and lives changed forever with the devastating loss of Owen Keith Brooks, aged just 16.

Owen was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. He touched the lives of so many people, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him will carry his memory forever.

A year on, the pain of losing Owen still feels incredibly raw.

On 30th July, we will begin a 72-mile walk from Skegness to Mansfield Town Football Club, aiming to complete the journey on 1st August. We would love as many people as possible to support us along the way — whether that’s walking a few miles with us, cheering us on, or sponsoring the journey.

Our hope is that this journey not only keeps Owen’s name alive in people’s hearts and minds, but also helps raise awareness surrounding mental health and the importance of supporting one another.

No problem is ever too big to be resolved.

All money raised will be donated to local sports teams, especially those that meant so much to Owen.
