Owen is just 8 years old — a bright, beautiful boy with the kind of smile that stays with you. He lives with complex medical needs, including epilepsy, scoliosis, and a tracheostomy. His daily life involves round-the-clock care, constant medical support, and ongoing physical challenges. Yet despite it all, he wakes up each day with joy, courage, and a spark that inspires everyone around him.

His incredible mum is at the heart of his care — his full-time carer, advocate, and constant. She hasn’t had a single day of respite. While juggling part-time work and navigating limited support, she continues to do everything she can to give Owen the life he deserves. But as Owen grows, so do his needs — and so does the cost of the specialist equipment required to keep him safe, comfortable, and supported.

This JustGiving page has been created for those who can’t attend Owen’s Day but still want to help this remarkable young boy live life with the dignity, comfort, and mobility he deserves.

Owen’s Day is a one-day fundraising event being held on Saturday 30th August, from 10am–4pm, outside Teach Me Courses, 3 Cockreed Lane, New Romney, TN28 8JH. Friends, colleagues, and local supporters are coming together to sell handmade crafts, gifts, cakes, and refreshments — all to raise money for the specialist equipment Owen urgently needs now and in the years to come.

Every donation — no matter the size — brings us closer to providing Owen with essentials like a properly fitted wheelchair, supportive seating, or other medical aids that make daily life more manageable. These aren’t luxuries — they’re life-changing.
