**Gift Aid note at the bottom**

On 20th-22nd August, members of the four Oxford University boat clubs will be rowing, erging, running and cycling as many miles as possible to raise money for Fulham Reach Boat Club and Tyne Amateur Rowing Club. Both of these clubs have active outreach programmes to help increase access to rowing, and the money raised by this event will support these schemes, with each club receiving 50% of the donations.

Fulham Reach Boat Club will use the money to offer bursaries for athletes from ethnic minority backgrounds and who would otherwise find the cost of rowing prohibitive to their participation in the sport. This will complement the work they are already doing to bring rowing to state school students and particularly those who face additional financial or social barriers to rowing.

The funds raised for Tyne Amateur Rowing Club will go towards renovating an old boat to increase the number of athletes that the club can accommodate. This will help to extend their ongoing work with the local community, and the boat will be painted in rainbow colours as part of an LGBTQ+ project.

Rowing is a fantastic sport that fosters not only athletic ability but also qualities such as resilience, commitment and teamwork that are invaluable in all areas of life, in addition to being great fun. Your support in making this accessible to as many people as possible is greatly appreciated.

Gift Aid - splitting the money between two charities means that we cannot add a Gift Aid option to this page, but if you would like to add Gift Aid to your donation, please fill in this form and we will arrange for FRBC and TARC to claim back the tax. https://forms.gle/ftmyTEqZDtqG4oqVA
