Story

To raise awareness of cystic fibrosis on the lead up to wear yellow day 2025, I will be doing various exercise machines at my local gym. To support two charities that mean a lot to our family and especially my son Rufus, who was born with cystic fibrosis in 2022.

Thanks to the campaigning and support that the CFTrust and Leeds Hospital Charity have delivered, Rufus has had and continues to have a much improved outlook on life. But there's still more to do and more people to be supported.

So my aim is to raise £1100, or 11 minutes, through a plan of 4 weeks, 5 cardio exercises, 11 minutes each, 5 days a week. With some extra challenges thrown in the mix as we move through the weeks.

The idea behind the exercises is to follow the physio that someone with cystic fibrosis would need to do, to get their lungs working and shift the build up in their lungs!

Thanks for your support, following our family and joining us in the highs and lows of life with a family member with #cysticfibrosis.
