Next year it will be 5 years since my friend Ed lost his battle with cancer. He left behind his wfe Sarah who is an NHS nurse and his son Ben, my Godson. I’d like to raise some money for Ben’s trust fund, for something his Dad would have paid for, maybe his first car, university fees, anything really. Ben is now asking questions about his Dad so I’m asking not just for cash but also if you have any stories or pictures of Ed could you e mail them to me and I’ll put them togther in a book.

I started doing triathlons in a bid to improve my own health at the same time Ed was battling cancer. In all the events I’ve done before I’ve not asked for anything as I’ve been saving it all up for this. Swim 2.5 miles cycle 112m and then a marathon in under 17 hours! After my last cycles and marathon there’s definiately a lot of training to be done!
