Story
We all know from our daily news and programmes like Blue Planet 2 with Sir David Attenborough that plastic pollution is a serious problem, globally and locally. Sometimes we can feel overwhelmed and wonder what we as individuals can do to make a difference.
The 2 Minute Beach Clean Community has the answer.
A not for profit organisation founded by Martin Dorey, the message is simple but effective. An invitation to us all to take just 2 minutes each day to pick up litter wherever you are - on the beach, in the park, on the street, wherever you are!

5 years agoThank you so much to everyone who has so kindly donated. My goal was £1200 and I have exceeded that! I am making a contribution to two boards on the coast and researching for the best spots/guardians for number 3. I am truly truly grateful and they will make a huge difference to the wellbeing of our coastline & sea. Jo xx

I have passed my original £1000 target & am so grateful for the difference your generosity will make. 😊 I was recently invited into the BBC Yorkshire studios to go on Radio Leeds & Look North! On the red sofa with Harry Gration & Amy Garcia! And in the morning I was on Radio York talking about plastic pollution & PaddleboardTheNorth. Thank you so much! Jo x 😊
