Paisley FM is a registered Charity registration number SC049193 which has been providing the Community with radio programmes 24 hours a day 7 days a week with a 29 strong team of volunteers who have years of experience of working in the local community radio, commercial radio and national BBC Radio

Together they bring a unique service to the community of Paisley and Renfrewshire. This service includes local news bulletins and information. Guests from the Renfrewshire community, e.g. on health (Renfrew Health Centre) and from Renfrewshire Citizens’ Advice Bureau, ROAR - Connections for Life, Paisley and many other organisations.

Paisley FM has also established the ‘Paisley FM Academy’ to provide Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) courses in Radio Broadcasting for pupils in schools across Renfrewshire.

At this time Paisley FM, has been affected by COVID-19 ‘lock-down’ measures introduced by the government to combat against the virus disease. This business and community ‘lock-down’ strategy has resulted in a significant decline in community advertising and sponsorship revenues from businesses and small-traders across Renfrewshire who are now no longer trading.

The volunteers are continuing to operate by remote studios that our technical staff have provided and to cover this and the essential on-going operational expenses Paisley FM are seeking financialsupport from the Community to ensure it's survival during the present crisis
