Story

Hi there friends and strangers! As some of you may remember, we spent a lot of 2021 fundraising for a new wheelchair for me - not the awful one in that picture there, I just don't have any new pictures of me in my brand spanking new chair. I still can't express how amazed I am we reached that goal.

The new goal is raising money for a motor for my chair because getting around in the rain or winter is impossible as is, not to mention I really would like to be able to take my dog on a walk. Me and mum are hoping to hold various fundraisers throughout the year and hopefully by this time next year I'll be joyriding through the streets.

There's not much more I can say than that. The quality of life this motor will bring me: I'll actually have a social life again, be able to go places without relying on mum's taxi, and do things I can't do in just a wheelchair like get up hills and high kerbs. I can't start to explain how much it would mean to me to get this motor, but it will genuinely change my life.
