Pete Okines is running The Boston Marathon on the 15th April 2019, in Memory of Martin Dickenson. Martin passed away last October 2 days after his 31st birthday.

Pete first met Martin at Superstar Arts a place where Martin loved to go. Martin a polite,talented artist,exceptional public speaker felt passoinately about Superstar Arts and enjoyed raising funds for them. Money will be spent buying art materials. Martins parents have also requested that half the money is split with The Portsmouth Kidney Unit. The money will be used to purchase much needed equipment to help kidney patients

Martin also enjoyed watchingThe London Marathon from start to finish along with The Grand Prix. Pete felt running The Boston Marathon is a fitting tribute to A Brave young Man who always had a smile on his face despite being in constant pain.
