Story

Pandit Sudarshan Das is attempting to achieve his 4th Guinness World Record in the "Longest Individual Drum Kit Marathon" for over 140 hours.

This World Record builds on the 3 previous records that Pandit Sudarshan Das has already achieved. He is currently the Guinness World Record holder for Longest Tabla Marathon (557hrs 11min), Longest Dhol Marathon (27hrs) & Longest Individual Drum Roll (14hrs).

Last year as part of his Guinness World Record Attempt for the Longest Individual Drum Roll Pandit Das raised money for the displaced refugees in Rohingya. As part of his performance tour later in the year he and his team visited the Rohingya Camp near Cox's Bazar and gave school books, bags, pens and pencils to school children in the camp.

This forthcoming record attempt will raise money for orphans will provide food and clothing to those children in desperate need of help and support.

Thanks to all those supporting this attempt including London Enterprise Academy & the Tabla & Dhol Academy Head of Music Mr Michael Broad.

The international videos below are from the visit to the Rohingya camp in September 2018.
