Story

In November of 2020, Pam Dawson attended Wythenshawe Hospital with nothing more than a complaint of stomach pains which resulted in a procedure booked to have a previously unrecognised mass removed. That course of treatment led to a diagnosis of aggressive small cell lung cancer leading to her current situation undergoing prolonging treatment for secondary bowel cancer.

At that time, she was advised she would have no more than 7 months left to live…but Pam is a fighter and is still fighting to this day.

Having witnessed the funding shortfall at her local Cancer Hub at Wythenshawe, she had decided to dedicate her remaining days to raising as much funds as possible to help access drugs to give sufferers the end-of-life treatment they deserve.

After a successful run of fun-days, afternoon teas & fun runs she has joined forces with #TeamCandour for one last fundraising push as an intrepid group of friends & staff face their fear of heights for a charity Skydive from a terrifying 15,000ft on 6th November.

We really hope you can support us on this journey and as always, any & all donations will be hugely appreciated.

Thanks so much xx 💕❤💕❤💕
