The very large parasol that was kindly gifted to the park a couple of years ago has stood broken for a year now and no longer opens up as pictures. A new one will cost approx £3600. In the meantime we have managed to raise £1400 of that but now struggling to raise the rest due to lack of funding. We are asking the community to help even if it is just £1 or £2 so we can purchase and fit a new one ready for the summer. We propose a few events over the next few months which will also involve bucket collections to put towards the new parasol. This is for everybody to enjoy and shelter from the heat and rain wether you are out walking your dog, pushing your babies or just meeting a friend for coffee and watching the world go by from our beautiful park.
