Story

Six years ago, Parents Talking Asperger’s (PTA) was launched by Karen Irvani as a way of connecting with other autism families living a ‘life wired differently’. Since that time the voluntary group has been a lifeline for hundreds of families who live with Asperger’s/high-functioning autism through its Family Fun Nights and additional support services such as mediation with schools and help with the complex EHCP process.

The need for support in Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire is still vast and the time has come for PTA to move from a voluntary organisation to a full-time charity. We are in the process of applying for grants and larger corporate donations but we need your help in the short term to help support the running of PTA on a full-time basis whilst we look for longer term funding.

We thank you in advance for any amount you can give.
