Paris 4 Paris, Supporting MND.

Paris is a former pupil of St Davids School in Ashford, Middlesex, where she was accepted with a gymnastics scholarship, and also a former member of Spelthorne Gymnastics Club.

Her clear desire, talent and physical ability meant that very soon she had won multiple regional competitions and numerous National Schools Championships.

Paris went on to represent GBR Sport Acro team in 2006 and won a silver medal at the European Championships, swiftly followed by another silver medal at the World Championships the following year.

In 2017, a day after her 26th birthday, Paris was diagnosed with MND, an incurable debilitating disease that is becoming more visible and affecting many many lives on a daily basis, a disease with a life expectancy of 2-5 years.

She married her longtime partner Dan in 2018 and, with the love and support of her family, she is defying the odds some 9 years later.

Although Paris is now wheelchair bound, her speech is diminishing and is in need of assistance for the most fundamental of life functions, her strength and will to fight on, driven by those closest to her, has not waned.
