I volunteer myself to compete a mud run challenge in march in aid of raising much needed funds for Little Treasures playgroup.

Here are a few reasons why I want to help and I need your help too,

When it comes to Little Treasures and the three amazing ladies who run it, it’s hard to know where to start. So many of us parents, whether they be past or present parents of children who have attended or are attending Little Treasures have so much to say about this particular setting.

Let’s start with Anna. Anna has been running LT’s since 1991. The energy, commitment and joy Anna brings to work with her EVERY DAY is on a level most of us can only dream about! Anna’s dedication to each and every child that passes through the doors of LT’s is apparent to anyone who is lucky enough to find themselves standing at the door of LT’s and dropping off their child for the morning.

Anna never stops; whether it be sourcing the latest grant to support LT’s, or organising fundraisers, marshalling parents in to their roles on the committee, identifying the very individual needs of every child that attends this wonderful setting, supporting not only the children but their parents as well, developing ideas for learning, building links within the community….. The list is extensive.

Then there’s Kathleen and Cleo who with their endless talent for creating just about anything you could think of! Whether it involves paint, food, play, craic, outdoor activities, general knowledge, early years learning they have it all covered.

The point about these three ladies is: most of what they do they are not paid for. It comes from a place of genuine commitment and passion. They genuinely care about each and every child that has won the playgroup lotto and ended up a Little Treasure.

Please help me raise much needed funds for little treasures and make 2020 a happy one with no more fund raising worrys for the staff.
