We are supporting a small independent day school for children with Autism. To help with their sensory needs, we are raising money for specialist sensory integration equipment.

Although the school is funded by Local Authorities, the vast majority of their money goes towards specialist staffing and creating a bespoke curriculum for each individual to help them develop into the young adults that they need to be to live as independent and successful life as possible. Their staff include a dedicated team of key workers, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapist, Educational Psychologists and Teachers who work hard with the resources they have to develop this curriculum, but some things are beyond the 'essential' criteria they spend their money on.

We want to give these children the best possible experiences during their time at school, and providing this area will prove to be a huge step towards achieving this.
