Please name the school you are attached to in the comment box (if applicable) and tick the box at the end of the donation process that allows JustGiving to share your email address with us, in order that we can get your prize to you. YOUR LOCAL SCHOOL CHILDREN NEED YOU!

We have again pledged to keep road safety at the heart of our community and help fundraise to keep our lollipop lady on the blind bend of Broadway East next academic year.

The Parklands Community Crossing group again needs to raise £5,000 to keep the 1,200 pupils of Gosforth Park First, Broadway East First, St. Oswald’s RC Primary and Gosforth East Middle schools crossing the road to school safely.

Our group was formed after Newcastle Council axed funding for 53 crossing patrol wardens in 2016. Since then, the crossing has been entirely funded by its community.

Every £1 donation = 1 entry into our Mega Raffle. Please give as generously as you can, just like last year there are a raft of amazing prizes to be won:

- A Mercedes Benz convertitle for the weekend courtesy of Mercedes Benz Newcastle, T&C's apply

- Round of golf for 4 at City of Newcastle Golf Club

- Breakfast for 4 and a bistro meal for 2 at City of Newcastle Golf Club

- Create your own dream ice cream at Mimi’s Ice Cream Emporium

- Cinema tickets, courtesy of Nineteen Recruitment

- Family pass for Washington Wildfowl Centre

- Family or pet photoshoot, plus print, courtesy of Sems Photography

- Mercedes merchandise

- Eleven Boutique voucher

- Chocolate Treats

The raffle will be drawn once we have met our fundraising target but donations will continue to be accepted after this time. The winners will be announced via our Facebook page, via the schools and City of Newcastle Golf Club.
