I've raised £1000 to keep our charities work going through the COVID-19 pandemic which has led to the cancellation of our usual fundraising events.

Our aim is to support and enable our Nepali friends in realizing their ideas and visions for progress within their communities. Our support is based around an ethos of mutual respect, cooperation and friendship in which both sides benefit, learn and develop side by side. We strive to promote education and community development within Nepal and support the projects that our Nepali partners wish to pursue.
Given the current COVID-19 pandemic that its affecting our lives we have been forced to cancel our planned fundraising events for the foreseeable future. This will unfortunately led to a shortfall in our income for this year and affect our ability to continue our work in Nepal. Currently, Shree Jana Jyoti Secondary School, our main partner in Nepal, has been repurposed as a forty bed hospital showing that this crisis is affecting everyone around the world.
While we are well aware that many people in the UK are struggle through this difficult time, many unsure whether they will keep their jobs or be paid. With that in mind we are only asking for support where possible no matter how small the donation it will help us continue our work for those in Nepal that are in an even worse situation than us with no NHS and no possibility of sick pay or pay leave.
