My partner and I have been together for almost a decade. I am not naming either of us, purely because I am trying to keep it as a surprise. We are school sweethearts!

Unfortunately shortly after he turned 20, he started blacking out. He was seriously sick, vomitting, his face was swollen to almost double the size and he was constantly tired - not normal for a 20 year old. Doctors then diagnosed him with a rare sinus infection which blocked the vessels in his face and caused all the symptoms. They started him on antiobiotics. Whilst they helped, he was not cured. Then, they started him on chemotherapy. The first round helped and he was fairly symptom free.

However, he hid the fact some of his symptoms were back from me. And the yearly check up confirmed that the infection is back and they cannot treat it on the NHS for the second time. He has attended specialist clinics but aside from antibiotics which do not help, he needs another treatment. It is costly but I made the promise to myself I would find the money so he did not have to worry.

My hope and goal is to raise the money and surprise him with the generosity of strangers. Any donation, big or small will help me reach our goal to get him the help he needs.
