    Story

Wow! What can we say about Pastor Tonye?

What a blessing he has been to us, our city and indeed, the world.

As you may know, Pastor Tonye has been a pastor and church planter for over 20 years. Anyone who has attended his Bible studies, worship nights or services will know that he truly brings the gospel to life in his own uniquely warm way, with his rich knowledge of Hebrew and Greek, his vast musical talents and, above all, his love and passion for God, for all people and to see them saved. The Lord has used Pastor Tonye as the catalyst to bring many to Him and we would like to see that continue in our great city!

We would like to honour and help our beloved servant leader and friend become a UK citizen, so he can stop paying for the privilege of living here and obviously for the very selfish reason of keeping him here with us in London.

The very specific sum we're after is broken down as follows:

    It’s three fees:

    - Naturalisation application meeting (in February): £328

    - Citizenship application fee: £4819

    - British Passport fees: £263.50

May I challenge you to redirect your tithe or part of your tithe to Pastor Tonye for the next few months to aid in this process? If that's not possible we'd also be incredibly grateful for any contributions, no matter how big or small, as really, every little helps!

Let's do this for our teacher, our brother in Christ and dear friend.

    Matthew 25:31-46

31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

Let's do this for Pastor T!!!!
