PATH need a permanent home. We have been very lucky for the past two years as we have been given buildings to use for free but we want to offer all the people we help more. PATH started with Kath and Denise both out in their cars with hats scarves and hot drinks meeting up. It has grown into an army of volunteers running a drop in centre open every day from 2-9pm which includes a food bank and signposting to relevant agencies. We provide hot food every day. We have an outreach team which start at 9pm every night on the streets of Paignton, Torquay and Newton Abbot providing hot drinks food and warm clothes. We can do so much more we just need a more stable base. These are just some of the extra projects we want to set up, these qualified volunteers are already waiting in the wings for us to move into a more suitable building. Two nurses to give regular health checks, a literacy teacher, a yoga teacher, alternative therapists, a hairdresser. All willing to give up their time on a regular basis to help us. We are ready to launch our job club introducing our homeless guys to local employers with CV's showing their qualifications. We are very excited, we have the manpower, can you help us make it a reality?
