Story
Parents in Sierra Leone need to sell a part of their harvest to provide an education for their children. This means that families go hungry. Children frequently survive on one meal a day. Please help me send funds to provide school materials for these children so that they can have the nourishment they need to study well and the whole family can benefit from having enough to eat. Please read about the situation in Sierra Leonean schools in the following article: https://www.dandc.eu/en/article/why-sierra-leone-did-not-achieve-millennium-development-goal-universal-primary-school Thank you!

Patricia Eastwood
Having lived and worked in Sierra Leone I have seen at first hand the conditions these children learn in. Since the civil war, the Ebola Crisis, and the Freetown mud slide, the education system is decimated. Help us provide education and nutrition to these children.
