Story
As a result of being kicked by a human, Burtie has sustained life threatening injuries, a ruptured urethra. Burtie is not just a very much loved pet, he is a therapy cat. He has paid a vital roll in the rehabilitation of his owner Kelly who suffers with PTSD after wtnessing a horrifically gruesome road accident.Any donations you can give to help Kelly pay his vet bills would be hugely appreciated.

2 years agoWe are utterly heartbroken to let you all know that, today, Burtie breathed his last breath and closed his eyes for the last time. He just couldn’t fight anymore and after infections resulting from his injuries, he was in so much pain he had begun fitting. He returned to the vets and the decision was made and he was put to sleep. Thank you for all your thoughts, prayers, donations and well wishes. We never expected this much support for Burtie and are so grateful. RIP Burtie x

2 years agoMany thanks for all the support we have received so far. Unfortunately Burtie is still struggling. His urethra has not healed yet and so is still leaking. He is still being monitored and a catheter has been fitted for the second time. Please continue to send get well wishes for Burtie and Kell. Thank you x
