I've raised £250000 to help fund a Lokomat-robot assisted walking therapy, to put at my son's special school for the use by the children and surrounding community.

Humans need movement! Assisted, guided and repetitive movement in an upright, weight bearing position improves health by stimulating respiration, circulation, and gastrointestinal function. It improves bone density, stretching of joints and muscles, to name a few...
Walking is an understated gift. Like others with a physical disability, my son is unable to walk, but he loves movement. He has greatly enjoyed and improved his health by assisted walking on a robotic gait trainer. We would like to purchase a Lokomat so that my son and other children at his special school can benefit from the physical and mental benefits that upright weight bearing in motion can bring.
Any gift will help towards the purchase of this machine, which can be available and accessible to the children and if possible to the community surrounding the school.
