I've raised £200 to help GRACE Greyhound Rescue by taking part in the Boxing Day dip.

This year my sister Alison and I will be taking part in the boxing day dip at South Shields. We're doing it to raise vital funds for GRACE rescue.
GRACE is a foster based rescue. They take the disguarded and abandoned Greyhounds from the racing industry. They pay for any vet treatment, flea/worm, spay/neuter, find them foster homes and rehabilitate, before finding them loving homes. They also have a number of dogs in permanent foster who have complex medical needs etc. These dogs are placed with a foster family and the rescue covers all bills for the rest of their lives. They are a totally independent, anti racing rescue. They take no money at all from the racing industry.
There is always a vet bill that needs paying, fuel costs for transporting dogs and food to buy. All of this is paid for via fundraising. Please dig deep and donate to this worthy cause. It doesn't matter how small the donation is, as every single penny helps make a huge difference to the Greyhounds lives.
We have set the target at £200 but would love to raise a lot more. We can only do that with your help.
Just giving is a totally secure way of donating. All monies will be paid directly into the rescues bank account once the page closes. The rescues founder Tracy Cook, will be happy to verify this for you if you are unsure about anything.
Thank you so much for helping.
Tricia and Alison.
