I'd like give all you kind supporters an update on whats happened to the funds that's been raised. Tattie had asked me to "look efter the dosh" and the main thing that he wanted was that items could be purchased for Ward 11 to make patients lives a bit more comfortable. I've been in touch with the Ward Charge Nurse and she is putting together a list for me. Another one he wanted was the Maggies Centre, I've been in touch with them and they've come up with some ideas. Another thing thats being looked into is a youth football cup / tournament

Update part 2. We have been in contact with an Integrative Medicine practitioner abroad who is assessing his case to tailor a cancer care support package specifically for his needs. The treatment will include natural medicines, mind-body interventions, Reiki, oncology massage and botanics. Following his surgery he will be given nutritional support. We have a lot to do and we thank you so very much for the overwhelming support you have all shown us. No matter how slow, forward is forward "

Update part 1. Since Neils diagnosis on the 13th January, we decided to actively explore the availability of alternative therapies as part of our approach to Neils care. We have decided to integrate these alternative therapies with the treatment currently being received. Conventional cancer treatment such as surgery or chemotherapy isn't an option so we feel that we have nothing to lose in trying anything which may help.
