I am part of a programme that goes off to Iceland for 10 days in the summer of 2019 to be part of a reforestation programme in Iceland and then to go on a 4-day expedition around Iceland with a team.

I care about this project a lot, because I am very keen on travelling and helping others. It will be very beneficial for me as a person to experience this, as well as being very beneficial for the local community in Iceland and their very fragile ecosystem. The aim of this programme is mainly to learn about the totally different culture that they have in Iceland and to help the local community. It's very important to look after and preserve Iceland's ecosystem, because it is one of a kind on this planet and it is endangered at the moment, because of the deforestation, pollution and many other factors.
