Story
I serve as the County Councillor for Banbury Grimsbury and Castle, a community in north Oxfordshire that is home to some of the most vulnerable people in England. Earlier this year, I received the devastating diagnosis of stage four pancreatic cancer. Despite this challenging news and the uncertain prognosis, I am determined to honor the commitments I made to my community during the election.
To make a meaningful impact, I am undertaking an 88-mile sponsored walk to raise funds for vital community projects that support those in need in my electoral division. This cause is deeply personal and urgent; every step I take is fueled by hope and a desire to bring positive change to this neighborhood.
I humbly ask for your support in reaching my fundraising goal of £1,000. Your generous contribution will help provide small but essential projects and uplift lives within Banbury Grimsbury and Castle. Together, we can turn personal adversity into action and create a lasting legacy of care and compassion.
