I'm raising £5,000 to help Pensioners and Families with Children suffering financial Hardship this Christmas.

Every year, we fund raise and collect donations to try and help as many of our Pensioners as possible to ensure they have nice food to enjoy at Christmas and know that our community is thinking of them and appreciates them. The financial burden Christmas brings is very hard for many of our Pensioners, and going out shopping during the winter months is very hard for them. So our aim is to raise enough money and food donations to ensure we can give as many Pensioners as possible in our community a nice Christmas Hampers full of food so they can enjoy the festive holidays and not have to worry about finances or facing the Winter Weather. Pensioners where the reason we started the Hampers over 10 years ago and are the primary reason we do what we do.

We decided 3 years ago to extend this to help a few families with Children who may be struggling financially to ensure wr ease the burden and make sure they have food in the cupboard so they too can enjoy Christmas without the added worry of how they are going to afford it, so we will also be helping some families once again.

The amount of Pensioners and families we can help all depends on how much we can raise and is totally dependent on the kindness and support of our wonderful community once again.
