Claire has a life limited lifespan through a disorder called AARS2 Leukodystrophy we don't know how long she has left but her condition involves Seizures, depression, anxiety, difficulty with mobility, unable to communicate properly, feeding and drinking difficulties and much more. Claire has 3 visits a day through a care agency whom do personal care as Claire cannot do this herself and feeding and drinking care as well as administering medications. When the carers have gone it's my responsibility to then take over that care. Claires condition cannot be treated and there is no cure so as a special one of lifetime experience I am appealing to all you lovely people to help us raise money to get Claire the dream she's always wanted to do and that is to raise funds for Claire and a carer to go to Disneyland Paris. We don't know how long Claire has got left with us but we have been told its a few years rather than decades. We are hoping to raise funds to get Claire to Disneyland Paris in the Spring of 2022. The fundraising cost is so high due to the nature of hiring a carer for 7 days, equipment hire such as a hospital bed to be put in place, the cost of the actual trip itself, and medical insurance in case Claire fell ill. All this comes at a cost but is required to ensure Claire is well looked after, feels safe but notably to have a long lasting experience of a lifetime.
