I'm running the Brighton Marathon in April 2026 to raise money for Game Day Vision.
Game Day Vision is a nonprofit community interest company dedicated to opening doors for blind and partially sighted individuals, connecting them with dedicated, sighted volunteer guides so they can attend and participate in the sports and events they love.
Their mission is simple but powerful: to ensure blind and partially sighted individuals have the chance to experience the thrill of live sports and events, from local games to cultural gatherings, regardless of visual ability.
By matching individuals with passionate volunteers, they make it possible for people who may not otherwise have a companion to guide them to these events. The service is completely free for those who need it, and they cover any volunteer expenses to ensure accessibility without financial barriers.
Additionally, for individuals who may face financial hardships, they aim to sponsor tickets for events, so they don’t miss out due to limited resources.
