    Story

My husband and I have a business on a garden centre in the Hope Valley. We have recently decided to set up a go kart track for the young children in the Valley. We set about purchasing some karts that were suitable for the age groups. We have travelled many miles to collect them, staying overnight in places. With all but one kart locked away safely we were ready to collect tyres to lay out the track but on arriving to work this particular day, we found our office and 2 of our sheds had been broken into. All our go karts were gone along with an expensive mountain bike with our little boys baby seat on, 2 lawn mowers, a strimmer and a chainsaw.
We were absolutely devastated. The time and money we have put into this to give the local children something to do, stripped away in a flash! They knew exactly what they were coming for, were prepared with their equipment to break in and CSI found no fibres, fingerprints or DNA.
We would love any help you could give so we can continue with our venture and we give you our word that once we are up and running and it becomes a success, we will pay each individual back. We like to see it as a loan not a gift but we will be just as grateful.
Thank you for reading and thank you for any donation you can lend.
