I've raised £200 to Women v Cancer

It is fair to say that my family is very familiar with Cancer, however, we are definitely not best of friends.
I lost my mother in 2005 to cancer related issues, then my farther-in-law in 2013 to prostate cancer. Now my Brother-in-law is also suffering the same illness and 4 years on every day he is here is a good day.
During the last few years I have done a lot of charity work primarily for male cancer, this year in honour of my late Mother I am raising money for women’s cancer. On the 8th April I am taking part in the Taunton ½ marathon, my 1st half for 30 years.
Following two lots of knee surgery I never expected to run again let alone complete a ½ marathon. This makes this special to me and with my family connections with cancer I hope you will support me.
I have a friend up in Newcastle and she is participating in a Women v Cancer bicycle ride in Costa Rica in 2019, in honour of her late Mother who had ovarian cancer. This event will cover 360km and take her from the Caribbean Coast to the pacific coast and She has to raise a minimum of £3300 to take part. Any money I raise will be pledged to her campaign.
