Story

The Disabled and Inclusive Golf Association (DIGA) is preparing to defend their Tri-Nations Cup title at The Vale Resort, Wales, from 21–23 September 2026.

Following a memorable victory at the inaugural Tri-Nations Cup in Ireland in 2024, Team Ireland will travel to Wales determined to retain the trophy against strong competition from Scotland and Wales.

The team of 10 players plus volunteers will depart on 20 September and return home on 24 September.

The Tri-Nations Cup is far more than a golf tournament. It is a celebration of inclusion, determination and sporting excellence, bringing together some of the finest golfers with disabilities from the three nations.

The event showcases not only exceptional golfing ability but also the resilience, courage and passion of athletes who continue to inspire others through sport.

Representing Ireland at an international event comes with significant costs. While players contribute personally towards the trip, DIGA is responsible for funding many of the essential expenses required to support Team Ireland, including travel, accommodation, team uniforms, transport, catering and tournament-related costs.
